  1. WC Billeke P & Aboitiz F: Brain Areas that Participate in Social Processing

  2. There was once a time when you went to the local dance hall and got to know people through dancing the light fantastic. I don't think I ever lived through those times. Society has become socially empty. Today, if you work for a company like McDonald's, you can't even date someone you met at work. For many, that leaves the internet's wicked wild west. So desperate are some people to create friends on a social networking site, that they pretend to be suicidal. This method often attracts the wrong contacts. Many young people simply haven't developed a responsible attitude to life, and will simply encourage the depressed to terminate themselves. In addition, if you act out a mental condition, then pretty soon your brain will have hard wired that state into you. Don't do it. It's better for you to talk to your parents and get them to find a partner for you. There are plenty of websites they can go to, particularly ones promoting women from eastern Europe. Unfortunately HMG has thought of that already and imposes financial controls on such migration. Being on a state pension, I would need savings of 56,000 pounds and my own home, which I have. What I don't have is the desire to get married again or even develop friendships. And needless to say, governments don't give a damn, despite the fact that, having the right partner can yield immense economic savings. They can support you in your career, introduce you to new friends, manage your finances, keep you out of prison or put you there, influence how you vote, whether to have children, and deter you from emigrating.

  3. Brain areas that participate in social processing. A simple classification of brain areas involved in social processing differentiates regions that participate in four related processes. The first is the perception of basic social stimuli, such as biological motions (V5), part of the body (extra-striate body area, EBA), and faces (fusiform face area, FFA). Another process includes emotional and motivational appraisal, where the amygdala (AMY), the anterior insula (AI), the subgenual and perigenual anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), as well as the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) participate. These cortical structures are in interaction with subcortical structures as the ventral striatum (VS), and the hypothalamus (HTH). These structures in turn interact with other regions which participate in the goal-directed, adaptive behaviors, and the categorization processes, such as the dorsolateral and the medial prefrontal cortex (dlPFC, mPFC) and the ACC. Finally for social attribution, areas like the ventral premotor cortex (vPMC), the superior temporal sulcus (STS), the AI, the posterior cingulate cortex (PCC), and the precuneus (PC) participate in more automatic, bottom-up inferences of other people’s mental states; whereas structures like the mPFC and the temporo-parietal junction (TPJ) are involved in more cognitive theory of mind skills.

Tiger cruises allow crew members an opportunity to bring family and friends on board for a short underway period. The program is designed to strengthen family ties and increase awareness and appreciation for the Navy and its mission through personal interaction and experience. America is the first ship of its class and the fourth to bear the name. She replaces the Tarawa-class of amphibious assault ship and is optimized for aviation and capable of supporting current and future aircraft such as the MV-22 Osprey and F-35B Joint Strike Fighter. 9. NEW YORK (May 31, 2010) Visitors interact with the mobile, dexterous, social (MDS) robot Octavia at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) exhibit during Fleet Week New York 2010. The ONR human robotics interaction research program at the Naval Research Laboratory focuses on the abilities of teams of humans and autonomous systems to communicate clearly, collaborate to solve problems, and interact via modality both locally and remotely. (U.S. Navy photo by John F. Williams/Released) Many people have great difficulty in interacting with IT never mind AI. I'm not naming anyone, but it occurred to me that what's needed is an AI viewer integrated into a headset that can tell the user what they are doing wrong. That's another brilliant idea I'm giving away.

  10. Thanks to fifty years of women's lib the UK is now a social disaster. Firstly single mothers got welfare benefits and now just about any single woman can get a council flat and benefits. Men have been made redundant, whilst many women have opted for a life of prostitution whilst on benefits. It's no wonder that the Islamic State terrorist group has such a strong appeal amongst young Moslem men. In 2015 the Swiss had one of their numerous referendums in which they voted not to let women be paid welfare benefits directly. It's nice to know that somewhere in Europe there are people who realise that there has to be strict rules if you want society to function harmoniously. In the UK our prisons are full of men and women who have fallen foul of 'social reform.'

  11. The problems facing the human race are mounting up. At one time civilisations often collapsed due to the unexpected forces of nature. Today governments also have unexpected challenges, from scientific advances to contend with, for which our antiquated constitutions are unfit to confront. I get the feeling that governments don't give a damn anymore about managing society, nor their economy. Parliaments have become nothing more than water and wind, passing poorly written legislation that goes unmonitored. Governments concentrate on subjects that are not contentious, creating the impression that they are working. This psychology turns government into a bureaucratic labyrinth of smoke and mirrors, whilst the reporting media provides little or no impetus for change.

  12. To create harmony in society, and hence reduced violence, it will be necessary to create a society that runs smoothly. Such a society cannot be created overnight.

  13. The development of social interaction will be in two stages:

  14. images_my_ideas_33/33_WC_Viktoriia_1987_Teachers_2010.jpg
  15. WC Viktoriia: Teachers in Group Session

  16. Stage 1 Reformed Capitalist System

  17. Family life will be reinforced with a policy of one child per family, since the population of the human race must be brought under control. To reverse global warming would require tens of thousands of nuclear fusion power stations. Such a figure is mind boggling. Reducing the global human population is therefore essential. Women will choose their mate from a selection of ten candidates, provided by the state run NCVC's Dream On department. Candidates will be selected based upon the following traits; genetics, intelligence, interests, financial status, etc. They will enter a compulsory relationship with each for three months, before making a final decision. The ultimate intention is to create a truly multi-racial and completely harmonious society. Currently nothing is being done by HMG on this subject despite the fact that violence amongst incompatible couples and in-laws costs the state a small fortune in legal costs, imprisonment, medical care, lost production, et cetera, each year. Existing dating agencies are a rip off partly due to most women not having the courage to contact a listed male client, whilst others are prostitutes. Whilst it may not be possible for men to have three wives, technology may be able to give your relationship a boost by giving your partner a makeover through bio engineering in the form of a metamorphosis, which would take about two years to complete. Alternatively, a man would be able to acquire a new partner every ten years, but would have to look after all previous partners that did not find a new mate. There would be no marriage and hence no divorce. Since the elderly would be looked after by younger generations, and since people would live far longer, homes would therefore have to be large. Biomes?

  18. During this period everyone will be electronically tagged with a discreet implanted transmitter, the intention being to dramatically reduce crimes of violence. Police will be armed with tasers, and where necessary firearms activated by approved fingerprints. Police will be equipped with cameras at all times to monitor performance, whilst the quality of CCTV in public spaces will be greatly improved.

  19. The government will promote a mental and physical well being, including the stamping out of obesity by banning junk food and increasing physical exercise on an individual basis. Vice, the cause of most sexually transmitted infections (STI), is not necessarily deactivated through the abolition of money. Whether the control of certain goods, like Hershey bars and nylons, does the trick, remains to be seen. In a clean society there would of course be no tobacco products, no excessive use of drugs illicit or otherwise, no chewing gum and no non-business aerosol paint cans. There would also be no gambling and no alcohol, the latter being replaced by non-alcoholic cocktails, similar to knickerbocker glory or banana split.

  20. It all sounds Orwellian, so how do you overcome problems that could otherwise cause mental illness? There are numerous factors:

  21. Mood and outlook: Working in IT on this website causes great mood swings. I lie in bed, making plans for the following day, only to see them shattered by IT problems within just a few minutes of switching on the laptop. I am a firm believer in letting out my feelings at that moment. Don't bottle it up. Afterwards, I calm down by playing solitaire, whilst listening to mp3s, or watching a good documentary or movie on TV. I go to bed before 10pm generally, and I think that helps in unwinding all that stress. I have seen how stress can destroy a person, so I don't want it to happen to me again. As for outlook. At the age of 75 I see no future for me, but I live in hope that the quality of my life will improve. The worst factor affecting my life is the UK weather, which is abysmal. It is interesting to note that the top ten countries listed in this report have far better weather than here in the UK, and less money problems, mainly because their financial system is so basic.

  22. Social self confidence. Well you have to be, in order to work on different contracts as a draughtsman, which I did for years. As for asking someone for a dance, the last time I did, she told me to fuck off.

  23. Communication skills, well yes, but they are not much good these days. I find 9 out of 10 phone calls I make to be a complete waste of times, hanging on the line for minutes listening to recorded messages that I have to pay for at x pence per minute. And of course living on my own without a pet, with almost all transactions conducted over the internet, leaves me with no opportunity to exercise verbal conversation, except with my TV.

  24. Self-worth is the deep, unshakeable belief someone has that they are loved and worthy to be loved. Well no one loves me, and no one has ever said that they love me, except my ex-wife in a letter. I look at the state of humanity and say to myself, that such beliefs mean nothing these days.

  25. Body image: I dress smartly on the rare occasions that I go out in the evening. It's a pity that most people do not. It's definitely a sign that the country is going down the drain.

  26. Empathy: I don't watch movies about relationships, as I find them too emotive.

  27. Relationship building: I have learned the hard way to have as little to do with people as possible. When it comes to developing a partnership, if the other person comes with relatives difficult to get one with, then simply walk away. No matter how hard this seems, you must walk away from such a relationship, before it consumes you and destroys the relationship. There appears to be no simpler and less painful solution.

  28. Drive and motivation: I'm self motivated, but exactly where I get it from I'm not quite sure. I assume it comes from all those failures in life, which could have been avoided had we a technocracy. The human race is about to be regimented by AI, and it's a pity I won't be around to witness it.

  29. Adaptability and resilience: Well, I've had many jobs, but I can't say that adaptability was all that important. To be successful you need one heck of a lot of luck, and good advice. The latter is seriously missing from government agencies. You might find these values handy when civilisation totally collapses.

  30. Cognition is the process of acquiring knowledge through education, training, experience, the senses, and retaining it. My parents never helped me with my homework. They took no interest in my development. Because of this I find it very difficult to retain facts. I have to write everything down, so I wouldn't say that I'm particularly intelligent, just average.

  31. Mind-body connection is the influence that the brain and thoughts have upon the body. Regarded as holistic medicine. All I can say is that I have taken a healthy lifestyle seriously, all my life. I restrict my food intake, so as not to be obese. I keep myself physically and mentally fit through exercise and challenges. Occasionally I see people who have clearly been deformed through years of working in a factory, and I think myself lucky not to be like that.

  32. So if you want good mental well being, you need a good climate, healthy social structure, low cost of living and a challenge in life. Keep surfing!

  33. Partnerships and Marriage

  34. When it comes to social interaction, the most important is probably between couples, married or otherwise. To make that relationship last, the following behaviour should be followed:

  35. Bodily contact should be encouraged, including holding hands, caressing hair, hugging and kissing, especially as the partner leaves for work. When at work, always send a text message to say how you're getting on, and include something sexy. Always enquire how they got on at work when they arrive back home, and be attentive to what they say, which means putting down the mobile phone doesn't it?.

  36. If your partner does the housework, leave written notes behind the ornaments on the furniture, and make verbal thanks for doing chores. Make coffee in bed in bed during the week and breakfast at the weekend. it is imperative that families take at least two holidays together per annum, with monthly excursions to a restaurant, cinema, or bowling alley. Alternatively a day trip to stately home, museum, etc.

  37. A secure job is more important than remuneration, as it's far simpler to plan ahead from a financial perspective. However, secure jobs are rapidly disappearing. It is essential that all parties realise this and plan ahead. Retiring early abroad, whilst the house is still worth selling, may well be the best retirement strategy, including for the kids.

  38. When it comes to sex on Friday night, it's best to start by sharing the shower or bath, after you've sent the kids off to the youth club. Scrub your partners body and hair. At least then it's all clean to lick, isn't it? And don't forget to put a lock on the bathroom and bedroom doors. Play some smooth sexy jazz, and rub your thigh on there's, to get them worked up. Beyond that, rub their erogenous zones, especially the groin area. A woman can be aroused by inserting your forefinger into the vagina, and with the thumb squeezing on the outside, rub in and out (reciprocate). And don't forget to brush your teeth and use a mouthwash before all those french kisses. Scratching the body with your fingernails also works wonders. If you find that boring, there's always a threesome with the childminder or lodger. Beyond that of course, there is the dangerous world of swinging. You only need to catch HIV once to totally screw up your life, and that of your partners. Beyond this, serious infidelity can really screw up your marriage/partnership.

  39. Sex of course is the precursor to children, without which there is little incentive to work, and possibly no one worthwhile to bequeath your estate to.

  40. And now for the negative aspects:

  41. There are little things and big things that over time can really destroy a relationship. The reckless spending of money on a hobby or obsession, such as spectator sports, clothes, gambling, train set, Black Sabbath final concert, etc. And then of course there is the excessive time spent on pursuits, such as the motorbike, hogging the TV, angling with your mates, etc. My marriage was destroyed when my in-laws repeatedly took my wife away and failed to bring her back home. Her mother would then interrogate my mentally backward wife about our sex life. Since my performance was to be closely monitored, there was none. I complained to my solicitor, who said he could do nothing. Amen.

  42. When it comes to financial matters, it is important to get a detailed written agreement. Who pays for what, and how much. The car, mobile phone, gym, the pets. It's important that the children get pocket money. By paying for their mobile phone and pets, they get to understand financial matters. Set up a joint account for these expenses. Make sure you claim for all welfare benefits, and immediately you become unemployed. Make sure your tax files are accurately managed, and visit food halls together. You may live in a swanky apartment, but when mortgage rates increase unexpectedly and one of you loses their job, you've got to swiftly swallow your pride.

  43. Then there are those irritating things that are truly embarrassing to screech about. He's swearing, farting, picking his nose, unwilling to clean the toilet bowl and put down the lid, and whilst watching TV he's always holding a can of ale in one hand and his dick with the other. And then there are the degrading insults. "He always calls me by my other name, which I gave him the night he paid for sex". To counter all these little irritations, you should write out a list, placing some good points first. Laminate the paper, because it might get wet. Then when your in the bath with him, read out the list whilst clutching his dick really hard. He is definitely not going to forget. Then of course there is the woman, like my mother, who always nags, nags, and nags again. My step-father simply hit over the head with a saucepan. Being a veteran of El Alamein, that couldn't have been difficult. More serious physical, emotional or economic abuse can only be met with a court order for protection, before the D-I-V-O-R-C-E proceedings, as it is extremely unlikely that the partner will improve. These incidents are often caused by conditions at work. A salesman can redirect his determined streak at work and home, by directing his energy into running. Whilst his conduct at home will probably improve, his determined streak has gone, and so he loses his job.

  44. Whilst elderly couples will sit out their marriage, young couples will accept that they are incompatible and therefore accept divorce far more readily. Marriage is a great employment motivator, which parliament and government appear to ignore. There are plenty of dating agencies on the internet, but are they genuine? In my view HMG should set up a 'secure' dating agency in partnership with the nation's education and financial institutions. With such data, it should be possible to arrange ideal partnerships, thereby promoting financial success and less crime. Women's lib should be discouraged by handing welfare benefits only to men, and divorce should be banned. In a broken relationship, the divorcee should register for another partner, staying with the present one until found.

  45. In a relationship, men want affection coupled with emotional, physical and financial stability, sharing similar lifestyles and interests, with support through thick and thin. Most men want a decent and respectful woman. Women on the other hand want to have fun with other women, plus security with a similar lifestyle. They want a man whose kind, intelligent, respectful thoughtful, confident and strives for self improvement. Few of these qualities or opportunities can be found in one person. You therefore have to take the rough with the smooth.

  46. images_my_ideas_33/33_WC_Vitold_Muratov_Immortality_by_Majar.jpg
  47. WC Vitold Muratov: The Statue Immortality by Majar

  48. Stage 2 A Utopia (the ultimate nanny state)

  49. Through gene therapy (bio engineering) humans will have enhanced senses, organs that repair themselves and adapt, including the human brain. We will be resistant to viruses and even radiation. In order to control human population we will have no sex organs, since we will be immortal. No gender will be the price one pays for immortality, which itself will dramatically reduce sex related assaults and illnesses.

  50. Due to rapid advances in genetic science (immortality), together with the slow rate of political advancement, it maybe necessary to discount stage one altogether, because the time to save the planet is running out.
